Floral prints galore during the final episode now that spring has arrived. Quite timely I might add that Billie is wearing 'Dior' in this episode - I know Kat attended the 'Dior' Gala just days before this aired.
I wonder if Offspring costume designer Michael Chisholm knew this would be a coincidence or if this episode just lends itself to a great party frock? Either way - well done!
The sheer volume of this dress throws all of those rules out I was referring to. This is a great example of wearing what makes you happy! Doesn't this dress scream happy, or maybe "I'm in love." Once again 'Billie' has demonstrated that she just loves a structured dress.
Nina also looking fabulous in a vintage floral dress. The design similar to a Japanese kimono. Keeping true to her style wearing a full-length dress with floating sleeves.
What will your ideal floral dress look like? In the mean time keep dreaming about the warmer days to come as we say goodbye to 'Offspring' for another season.

This week feature look is one that you can wear all day and even take into the night - the classic leather jacket makes sure of that!
This jacket style has been around since my full-time Network Ten Days, way back when I styled Carrie Bickmore's first ever Project show! Just goes to show you can't beat a good leather jacket. In case you're wondering who it was by? White Suede is your answer!
Maybe that's why I enjoy styling Kat and she loves working with me - we both have similar taste and style when it comes to all things fashion. Once again this is a style that works well on both Kat and Billie. This jacket gives her shoulders a strong finish - a little secret of mine to balancing features.
A strong print yet again breaks up the black jacket and pant. Ok - so by now you're starting to get where I'm coming from!
How often do you say to yourself I don't have the right jacket to pair back with your outfits? By finding out what key items you are missing from your wardrobe you can create a whole new world when it comes to getting dressed each and every day.

This weeks photo sums up so many questions about Billie's style in comparison to Nina's.
Billie's clothing suits her strong and bold personality and Nina with her soft layers suits her hesitant somewhat relaxed nature. Both wearing what makes them happy and both are true to their own 'Personal Styles'. Billie's style is Classic, Creative and Feminine, while Nina style is Creative, Feminine and Boho.
One of my number one rules is - don't follow the rule book! What a contradiction that is your thinking - well it's something I learnt very quickly, that if we followed all the rules to suit our body's features you'd end up back at square one - nothing to wear!
In this photo Nina has balanced her broad shoulders with a long straight printed skirt. A waist belt has also helped balance her proportions. Billie loves her classic black staples - "Who doesn't!" She has created interest by wearing her bright orange lace top to break up the black. This certainly get's your attention. Her skirt length creates harmony by balancing her proportions.
Think about what's in your wardrobe, do you shop for the same styles? Or go to the same shops? Think about what looks great on you - your favourite garments. Ask yourself why they work on you? What do you love about them?
I love prints, often paired back with a block colour, usually white, navy or black. Add some texture and a splash of colour - nothing too bright for me! Add into the mix garments that even my proportions and there you have it - my 'Personal Style' is 'Feminine and Creative'.
Create harmony within your look by adding layers of accessories - a scarf, belt or feature necklace. This is always a great way to add that extra 'Personal Style' touch.
